You can make staff members on a matter active or inactive from the Law Firms tab. If required by your client, you can also submit staffing changes for approval from this tab.
This function may not be available if your client does not allow changes to the Staffing List. When it is enabled, note that not all clients require approval for staffing updates.
- Click the Law Firms tab on the Matter Overview page.
- Place a check mark by your office name from the list.
Click Edit Staffing List.
The Edit Staffing window displays.
Select one or more names.
You can view the user's current status by looking in the Status column. You can also use the filter function to narrow down your results. Select an option from the list and click Filter.
- Click the Activate or Inactivate button. A confirmation message displays.
- Optional: If your client requires approval of your changes, click Submit For Approval. Users that are awaiting approval will have a 'Pending Staffing List Approval' status.
