Each Budget Overview page contains tabs at the bottom of the page. These tabs provide access to additional information on the budget, including budget amounts, tasks, and comments. A number on a tab represents the associated items contained within that tab.

Main Details on the Budget Overview
The Budget Overview page is divided into the main details area at the top and individual tabs at the bottom.
Viewing the Top Section of Overview
The main details area displays high-level information about the matter, including budget type, start date, contacts, spend for the current period, and a link to its associated matter.
Clicking the Print icon in the upper right will bring up the Print Budget window, where you can customize what you wish to print from the page.
Amounts Tab
Performing Actions on the Journal Tab
You have several options to manage journals in the Journal tab. Click an item in the Action column below to learn more. See this topic for how submit budgets, edit budgets, or view budget history.

Viewing Budgets on the Amounts Tab
The Amounts tab shows details about the budget performance. Click the gear icon in the upper right to add/remove columns.

| Budget Period | The budget's time frame (i.e., Life of Matter, Quarterly, other). |
| Status | The state of budget (i.e., Active). |
| Date | The date of the budget creation. |
| Original Budget | The first approved budget amount. |
| Current Budget | The most recent budget amount. |
| Actual | The approved invoice spend within the specified budget period. |
| Pending Approval | The amount being submitted by the law firm for client approval. |
| Actual Remaining Balance | The net balance available based on the Current Approved Budget minus approved invoice spend. |
| Projected Balance Remaining | The projected balance based on the Current Approved Budget minus approved invoice spend. |
| Actual % of Budget | The percent of the Current Approved Budget which the approved invoice spend represents. |
| Projected % of Budget | The percent of the Current Approved Budget projected for the approved invoice spend. |
Tasks Tab
The Tasks tab on the Budget Overview page allows you to manage any tasks that have been added to the budget. Tasks may be added by you or your client to help manage collaboration.
Performing Actions on the Tasks Tab
You can add new and manage existing tasks directly from this tab. See this topic for more information.

| +Add Task | Click this button to add a task to the matter. |
| Edit Task | Select a task and click this button to edit an existing task. |
| Delete Task | Select one or more tasks and click this button to delete the selected item(s). |
| Reassign Task | Select a task and click this button to reassign a task to a different user. |
| Change Status | Select a task and click this button to change the status of the task(s). |
Viewing Tasks in the Tasks Tab
Once a task has been added to the matter, you can view some general information about it in the list.

| Task |
Displays the name of the task. The description is displayed below the name if it contains one. Click the name of the task to access a slide-out panel with the task details. Clicking the three-lined icon in the corner allows you to perform task actions, including adding a comment and showing the task history. |
| Task Type | Displays the type of task, whether Internal or Client. |
| Assignee | Displays the name of the user assigned to the task. Click the name of the user to view details, or click the pencil icon next to the name to reassign the task. |
| Due Date | Displays the date which the task is due (if the task contains a due date). |
| Status | Displays the current status of the task. Click the status on any task to change it. |
Comments Tab
The Comments tab shows any comments that you or your client have added to the budget. You can use this area to ask questions and tag other users on the budget. See this topic for more information on comments.
History Tab
The History tab on the Budget Overview page shows all change events that have occurred on the matter since its creation.
You can view general information about the list of budget events and changes on the History tab.

| Event Description | Displays the change that took place on the matter (e.g. Budget Deleted, Sent Assignee email) |
| Event Date | Displays the date the change was made or the event happened. |
| Initiated By | Displays the user that performed the change or initiated the event. |
| Details | Displays specific details about what was changed or the event that took place. |
| Context | Displays more detail about the event description. |
